1. 100% Client-Side Processing Architecture

DietPlanPDF operates as an interactive client-side web application. All biometric inputs — including gender, age, height, weight, dietary goals, and clinical health conditions — are computed directly in your browser using JavaScript and vector HTML5 canvas/jsPDF rendering. We do NOT store, log, or sell your health metrics or personal biometric calculations on any remote database.

This architectural choice was intentional and deliberate. Health metrics — including weight, height, age, and medical conditions such as Type-2 Diabetes, PCOS, or Hypertension — are sensitive personal data. We believe these metrics should never leave your device. Our entire technical infrastructure is built to ensure that zero personal health information is transmitted over the internet when you use our meal planning and PDF generation tools.

2. What Information We Collect

DietPlanPDF distinguishes between two distinct categories of information:

a) Health & Biometric Data — Not Collected by Us

Your biometric inputs — height, weight, age, gender, health conditions, dietary goals — are processed exclusively within your browser session. These inputs are never transmitted to any DietPlanPDF server or any third-party service. No database record is created, no user profile is generated. When you close your browser tab, this information ceases to exist in any system outside your own local device.

b) Automatically Collected Technical Data

Like all standard web servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically collects non-personally identifiable technical diagnostics including: browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited and approximate session duration, IP address (retained temporarily for security and bot-filtering, not linked to user profiles), and device type (desktop, tablet, or mobile). This technical data is used exclusively for infrastructure performance monitoring, security analysis, and aggregate traffic analytics — never for targeted advertising or personal profiling by DietPlanPDF directly.

3. Cookies & Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

DietPlanPDF is a 100% free platform funded exclusively by non-intrusive display advertising through Google AdSense. To serve contextually relevant advertisements, Google uses browser cookies. Here is a complete disclosure of how advertising cookies function on this site:

4. Local Storage & Browser Data

DietPlanPDF uses browser localStorage exclusively to preserve your dark/light theme preference between visits. This data contains no health metrics, no biometric data, and no personally identifiable information — only a single string indicating your visual preference ("dark" or "light"). You can remove this at any time by clearing your browser's site data or local storage for dietplanpdf.com via your browser settings.

5. Contact Form Data

If you voluntarily use our Contact Form, you provide your name, email address, and inquiry message. This information is used solely to respond to your specific inquiry. Contact form submissions are not added to marketing lists, shared with advertisers or third parties, or used for any purpose beyond addressing your request. Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, after which it is permanently deleted.

6. GDPR Rights (European Economic Area & United Kingdom)

7. CCPA Rights (California Residents)

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

DietPlanPDF is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our diet planning tools are intended for adult use. 9. Data Security

DietPlanPDF implements industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all web traffic, secure server configurations with automatic bot-protection and DDoS mitigation through our hosting provider, and no storage of sensitive personal health data on our servers. Because health biometric data never leaves your browser, the attack surface for a data breach is fundamentally minimized. The only personal data at potential risk would be contact form emails, which are handled through secure, encrypted email infrastructure.

10. Third-Party Website Links

Our website contains links to external sites including PubMed research papers, Google Ad Settings, the Network Advertising Initiative, and other reference resources. Once you leave DietPlanPDF by clicking an external link, this Privacy Policy no longer governs your session. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites and strongly encourage you to review the privacy policy of each external site you visit.

11. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, platform features, legal requirements, or regulatory changes.
